7

What is covered under Sports and Activities on the policy?

Zurich cover for over 100 activities as standard on all policies.  You will find these listed in a table on their website under a menu heading "Activities Covered" and additionally on the policy document itself.

Each activity is listed together with any conditions that apply for cover, for example, under supervision of someone qualified, or wearing a helmet.  Some activities also have personal liability and/or personal accident cover removed.

There are a further 15 activities covered when you purchase the Winter Sports add on.

One particularly good thing about this Activity list is there is a selection of activities that can be covered if it is the main purpose of the trip - for instance Angling.  The majority of policies do not allow any Activity to be the reason for the holiday itself, it has to be carried out as a general activity for the trip (amongst others) and not the sole purpose for the trip.
