There are a number of optional extras that can be added to the basic policy, Enhanced Travel Disruption, Gadget Insurance, Cruise Plus Insurance, Business Plus Insurance, Sports Equipment and Cycle Insurance, Golf Insurance, Wedding Insurance and Holiday From Hell Insurance which covers travel disputes and gives £25,000 worth of cover for professional fees.
Annual Travel Cover includes 21 days winter sports as standard, an unlimited number of trips per year and each trip up to 45 days. Cover for consumers up to the age of 74 and cover starts from as little as £60. Voyager aims to provide high levels of cover at competitive prices. Single Trip Insurance policies are great value too, with 2 weeks in Europe costing as little as £24.50. Children go free, meaning even better value for families. There is no age limit for short stay policies of up to 62 days (31 if you are aged 75+).

Children are classed as persons aged 17 and under (or aged 20 and under if in full time education).
Maximum age for Annual Multi Trip is 74 years

Annual Multi Trip, Trip Durationis 45 days for persons under 70 years and 31 days for persons aged between 70 and 74 years.
Sinlge Trip, Trip Duration is a maximum of 62 days if aged 74 years or under. This reduces to 31 days if aged betreen 75 to 84 (areas 3 and 4 only) and 85 and over (all areas).
Longstay, Trip Duration, minimum duration is 2 months and 18 months maximum.
Wintersports can be added to your policy for up to 21 days on your Annual Multi Trip Policy. It can be added to your Single Trip or Longstay policy for up to 31 days.

The policy includes cover for Bigfoot Skiing, cross country skiing, Glacier walking (under 2000metres), Mono Skiing, Off-piste skiing (providing local safety guidelines and warnings are observed), On piste skiing and snowboarding, sledging, snowmobiling and tobogganing.
Family means two adults (or 1 adult for a single parent family) and all of their children (including foster children) aged 17 and under (20 and under if in full time education). All persons must live at the same address. On annual multi-trip policies all insured persons are entitled to travel separately providing all travellers are named on the certificate of insurance.
There is no limit on the maximum number of persons that can be quoted for on a policy. There are premium discounts for 5 - 10, 11 - 24 and 25+ individuals insuring under the same policy.
If you are travelling within the EU you are strongly advised to obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), though this is not mandatory. Additionally, if you are travelling to Australia you should enrol in medicare if you require treatment.
Sports and Activities are split into three sections on the policy, Leisure, Action and Action Plus. There are 90 Activities covered as standard and 10 marked W/S (Wintersports) which are covered if you have paid the appropriate Winter Sports Premium.
The Action section has an additional 14 activities including 1 W/S (Wintersports), activities in this section carries a 50% Premium Load/increase. The Action Plus section has an additional 22 activities including 3 W/S (Wintersports), activities in this section carries a 100% Premium Load/increase.
Special Conditions and Exclusions are applicable to Action and Action Plus activites, this excludes cover under Personal Accident and Persnal Liability, Medical Expenses excess increases to £200 per person. You must also ensure to follow compliance with local laws in place for activities and must use equipment such as helmets, harness, knee or elbow pads.
The policy states you are not covered for "your excessive consumption of alcohol or use of
drugs. Your alcohol intake whilst taking any combination of medication or drugs known (or would reasonably be suspected) to cause drowsiness, impaired vision or judgment when combined with alcohol whether such drugs are prescribed or not. Any claim which is as a result of you having been diagnosed as suffering from acute alcohol intoxication, alcohol dependency or alcohol withdrawal.
Financial Failure cover is provided under Section 13 on the policy. It is listed as Holiday Financial Protection and covers you for up to £3000. This cover provides for financial failure of Scheduled Airlines, Rail Operators including Eurostar, Eurotunnel, Ferry and Cruise Operators, Coach Operators, Transfer Companies, Car Hire Companies, Hotels and Apartments, Villas abroad and cottages in the UK, Caravan sites, Campsites, Mobile Homes, Camper Van Rentals, Destination Management Companies, Safaris, Excursions, Theme Parks such as Disneyland
Paris, Tour Operators, Travel and Booking Agents and Consolidators.
Medical Conditions can be quoted for online, you are required to go through Voyagers online Medical Screening Process.

You are not covered for normal pregnancy, without any accompanying bodily injury, illness or complication. You will be covered under emergency medical expenses for unforeseen events, accidents and illnesses. To clarify normal childbirth would not constitute an unforeseen event.
Manual work is excluded under the policy,
The exclusion of manual work does not apply to work that is:
i. purely managerial /supervisory, sales or administrative capacity;
ii. bar, restaurant and catering trade staff, musicians and singer;
iii. fruit pickers (who do not use heavy machinery), casual light work, light agricultural work; supervised conservation work, voluntary charity work labour where there is no financial gain; in such circumstances there will be no cover for hands-on involvement with the installation, assembly, maintenance, repair or use of electrical, mechanical or hydraulic plant, heavy power tools and industrial machinery, or work above two storeys or 3 metres above ground level (whichever is the lower). iv. supervised animal sanctuary work but no cover can be provided in relation to any interaction with dangerous wild animals such as lions, tigers or big cats of any kind.
In relation to iii. and iv. above personal accident and personal liability cover due to your participation in the work activity is excluded and in the event of an injury the excess under section 2 - emergency medical expenses will be increased to £/€200 and an excess waiver will not delete this increased excess.
Receipts are required in the event of a claim, you should ensure that if you don't have receipts that you have proof of purchase e.g. credit card/bank statements.
If you have purchased any goods specifically for your holiday, please keep those receipts safe and take a photo of the contents of your suitcase. If you have valuables, please get an up to date valuation for them.
Policy states you are not covered for "Terrorism means an act, including but not limited to the
use of force or violence and/or the threat thereof, of any person or group(s) of persons, whether acting alone or on behalf of or in connection with any organisation(s) or governments, committed for political, religious, ideological or similar purposes including the intention to influence any government and/or to put the public, or any section of the public, in fear."
You are covered under section 6, missed departure and journey disruption for " civil unrest, rebellion or war directly affecting the area where you are."
You are covered under section 6, missed departure and journey disruption if "you are forced to move from pre-booked accommodation to continue your trip or, if the trip cannot be continued, to return home as a result of;
a. fire, lightning or explosion rendering the pre-booked accommodation uninhabitable,
b. local medical epidemic or directive from a qualified national or local authority directly affecting the area where the pre-booked accommodation is,
c. hurricane, storm or other natural disaster that threatens your safety such that official evacuation orders are issued or that the pre-booked accommodation is rendered uninhabitable,
d. civil unrest, rebellion or war directly affecting the area where you are."
You are required to be a UK Resident to be applicable for this policy.
