AnzPlus is the trading name of The Medical Screening Company Ltd. Anzplus describe themselves as one of the leading UK independent specialist travel insurers and they have been operating since 2003.
They cover single trips of up to twelve months to Australia and New Zealand being specifically designed to supplement reciprocal health agreements between the UK, Australia and New Zealnd. Annnual policies cover worldwide trips and policies are underwritten by MAPFRE Assistance. Single trips start from just £10.34 and Annual policies from £25.69.

A child is classified as any person under the age of 18.
The age limit on the single trip policy is 79 and 74 under the annual multi-trip policy (at the date of issue)
The single trip policy can be taken out for up to 365 days (up to the age of 69) This is reduced to a maximum of 90 days for anyone aged 70 years or over.
Annual travel policies allow for an unlimited number of trips, provided each trip lasts no longer than 24 or 31 days depending on the policy you select.
Both policies allow you to include winter sports cover as an option. Single trips for the duration of the trip and annual policies for up to 21 days.
Unfortunately neither the policy or the website specifies what activities you are actually covered for.

An Anzplus policy can be taken out by a single person, a couple or a family consisting of two adults and up to 8 eligible children.
The ANZPlus policy does not provide cover for any medical care expenses which would otherwise be covered under the terms of the reciprocal health agreements unless authorised by Insurer.
You must at all times seek treatment at an appropriate medical facility which participates in the Medicare or EHIC scheme and/or other reciprocal health agreements. If you are in any doubt you should contact the Insurer for advice before starting treatment.
The policy covers just over 80 sporting and leisure activities as standard, including scuba diving down to a depth of ten metres (or 30 metres as long as PADI qualified to that depth), jet skiing and white water rafting up to category three rivers.
If you are going to be taking part in activities not listed in the policy, you should contact ANZPlus, to see if they can be included and at what terms.
The policy excludes any claim caused by the influence of alcohol.
Airline failure cover is available as an option
Apart from a list of minor ailments, all pre existing medical conditions are excluded. You can still buy a policy, as long as you understand there is no cover for any loss you may suffer as a result of pre-existing medical conditions.

There is no cover for cancellation if you become pregnant after purchasing a policy and you are more than 32 weeks pregnant. Or you doctor advises that you are not fit to travel because you are suffering complications of pregnancy.
There is no cover for emergency medical expenses that arises from pregnancy, unless a qualified medical practitioner confirsm that the claim comes from complications of pregnancy. (A list of complications is provided in the policy).
Manual work or manual labour is specifically excluded under the policy.
In the event of a claim for valuables and item(s) for which you are claiming more than £150, you are required to provide documentation proving ownership and value. If this is not provided the maximum liability for any claim is limited to £150.
War is excluded under the policy. Cancellation cover excludes terrorist acts, unless government advice is changed not to travel to the area.
