For ease of reference, we have created a range of icons as a visual guide and at the bottom of the Compare Policies page, you will see a full list, with Info ‘i’ clickable pop ups, explaining what that particular policy cover is for.
When searching and selecting your favourite policies to compare, you will see these icons listed by the cover offered on that policy. Next to it will either be the amount covered – or if optional cover – a yes/no answer as to whether you can buy this as an ‘add on’.

A benefit payment made for unlawful seizure of the conveyance in which you are travelling as a passenger
A benefit payment made for each 24 hours period that you spend in a foreign hospital.
A payment to cover additional kennel or cattery fees if departure of your return journey is delayed between 12 and 24 hours (depending on the Insurer), as a result of strike, industrial action, adverse weather, mechanical or technical fault. Some Insurers also include cover for illness or injury to a pet whilst you are away.
Legal costs, enabling you to pursue a civil action for compensation regarding any incident that results in bodily injury, death or illness, caused by a third party during your journey.
To pay emergency medical costs caused by unforeseen events such as accidents, illness or disease.
